Heat Stroke Prevention is now mandatory.

Effective June 1, 2025, the Industrial Safety and Health Regulations based on the Industrial Safety and Health Law have been revised, requiring all businesses, including farmers and agricultural corporations that employ workers, to establish a system for the early detection of heat stroke and procedures for implementing measures to prevent serious illness, and to inform the workers concerned.
Although it is not mandatory for farmers who do not employ workers, please make efforts to take the same measures to protect family workers and others from heat stroke and yourself.
According to the JMA's 3-month forecast, the season is expected to progress slowly and temperatures are expected to be higher than normal in September ・ October, so please continue to take adequate measures when performing agricultural work.
