Beware of Tomato Yellow Leaf Curl Disease

In late August, the Chiba Prefectural Government conducted a survey of summer and autumn tomatoes at 10 sites in the prefecture, and found that the average incidence of tomato yellow leaf curl （ was 16.20% （ and the average was 1.48% ） per site, the highest incidence in the past 10 years. The National Agricultural and Forestry Research Center of Chiba Prefecture issued an advisory for pest outbreaks.
